Bolon is a pioneering Swedish design company, founded by sister-duo Marie and Annica Eklund. The company is known for its innovative woven flooring and strong focus on sustainability. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with some of the world’s most influential creative figures, including Missoni, Jean Nouvel, and Patricia Urquiola. Their work has been featured in high-profile spaces worldwide, most notably in Armani’s private residence and across Armani stores.

Bolon has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It is a family company founded and led by my mother and aunt, who represent the third generation of our family in the business. I grew up running around the factory, watching materials turn into ideas, and playing “office” with my friends in the actual work place. These experiences that have quietly shaped my work ethic, my curiosity, and my drive. As the forth generation, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute in my own ways, most recently by creating their deck of cards to spotlight a new sustainability initiative and directing a short film for the launch. In this way, I’m reimagining how Bolon’s story can be told, while bringing fresh energy to how the brand is communicated.
